Fall is actually one of my favorite seasons: it begins to cool down, harvest is winding down, and multi-colored leaves begin floating down. As Leo Buscaglia says in his book, Freddy the Leaf, Freddy was the last leaf on the tree, and when he finally let go and floated gently to the ground, he was able to see the whole tree for the first time. So, for me, fall is the season to see with new eyes, to hear with seasoned attentive ears, and to let myself be transformed by embracing my experiences of all the other seasons of the year. Oh, and yes, it’s a season for playfulness!
Go, jump into a pile of leaves!
